Being With Byron Katie Northwest Gathering

Hello inquirer!

We are so excited to gather July 8-11, 2017 all day Saturday – Tuesday in gorgeous Seattle, Washington to hold retreat with Byron Katie–while she is all the way in Switzerland!!

To sign up please click here.

With the joys of technology, Byron Katie will be streaming her program from a little village in Switzerland for the third year in a row, and we’ll be able to gather, watch, maintain silence, and share this inspiring time together.

We will hold total silence together during this time. For those of us commuting, you may choose to break silence when you leave our site, or remain in silence depending on your life situation. Our retreat house will be a silent zone.

The fee? $185 per person.

If you choose to sleep onsite, there are 4 lovely private rooms and space for 2 people to sleep on couches or mattresses for a reduced fee. Please see the fees for registration for lodging below. You will pay Grace Bell directly (the house is booked).

Daily Schedule:

Saturday, July 8, 2017 Please arrive between 8:30-9:00 am. We’ll begin the first session at approximately 9:30 am. Saturday, July 8th will include THREE sessions, the orientation and introduction followed by two 3-hour sessions with Katie (approximate times): 9:30-11:00 am, 2:00-5:00 pm and 6:30-9:30 pm.

Sunday, July 9th and Monday,July 10th two sessions with Katie: 10 am – 1 pm, and 4 – 7 pm.

Tuesday July 11th THREE sessions: 10am-1pm and 2:30-5:30 pm and the beautiful closing session from 7-8:30 pm.

Please feel free to come and go as needed for your schedule. The fee is the same (and if you miss part of the retreat during our time together, you will be able to log-in and watch what you missed later via your computer for a limited time).

This will be a magnificent time to have a very low-cost experience with Byron Katie, and a group of inquirers dedicated to personal self-realization and awakening. People generally are unable to hold silence all alone in retreat in daily life–this gives an incredible support and power to the energy of silence in the group, allowing participants to keep silence throughout the 4 days together.

People will be able to individually log in to watch the recordings of this broadcast for select days throughout the month of August, and if you are interested, you’ll be able to upgrade with a small fee (around $45) to watch all of it as many times as you want to through the end of August. Everyone attending from ITW will receive 24 credits with Certified Facilitators (12 credits for Grace Bell, 12 credits with another CF who is attending) OR they can register for the same small upgrade at the end of the 4th day to receive special credit for attending retreat directly with Katie (also 24 credits) and unlimited watching of the sessions.

(When you write we can let you know what rooms are still available).

Can’t wait to join with you in the joy of silence and the wisdom of Katie and The Work.

  1. Of course! I will refund your payment via paypal. These things happen, and I think so many want to attend there will be others who might even be happy you had to give up your spot. Looking forward to whenever we next meet down the road indeed. Enjoy your time with friends! Much love, Grace

  2. I am disappointed that I need to cancel for me and my sweetie for the Bothell seminar. It was one of those decisions involving a previous commitment to a friend. Can you refund my payment through pay pal. I hope to join in with you down the road.

  3. Hi Deborah,
Yes, you’d sign up for it directly at http://www.thework.com. Let me know if you have trouble finding the registration page–it will be $240 for you individually, and you’ll have access for 30 days. This is indeed different than Katie has ever done before–should be fun.
    Much love, Grace

  4. Thanks Grace, for bringing attention to this opportunity!

Though I cannot join you this time in Seattle, I want to sign up for this, as I have for other BK webinars presented on weekends.

Because of the time difference (I’m on EST), I would be able to attend all but 3 hours each on Monday and Tuesday (1 PM- 4PM EST) in real time. And you said that this would be available as a recording for 30 days? Is that the case for anyone who signs up individually as well? I don’t recall that necessarily being the case for past webinars I’ve attended but maybe I was just not aware or maybe they were not recorded.

While it won’t be as much fun as being with you and others in Seattle, I’ll be with you in Spirit!

And perhaps I’ll be back in Seattle next year!

    XO,
    Deborah

  5. Hi Grace,
I have a similar question to Barb’s. If I had to work on Tuesday, could I access the content later that evening, or on the following weekend?
    Thank you!

  6. Yay! Would be fabulous to have you Linda–we’re filling quickly, so if you’re interested in attending, go ahead and sign up (or check back later). My list is getting full, though. I’m definitely sold out for bedrooms, but you are local so you would be welcome to attend as a commuter (most people will be going home at the end of the day and returning in the morning for the full day). We’ll be in Kenmore in a gorgeous setting right across the street from a beautiful little park. Hope to see you!

  7. Hello! I remember you, lovely that you’re coming! Yes, there is a pretty good parking area, and the main road of this lodge is an arterial that has parking. There is also a public park across the street, although my guess is that it wouldn’t have overnight parking. I’m sure we could make space in the large parking area (really does fit a lot of cars) for your RV, that shouldn’t be a problem at all. What a great idea! :) Looking forward to having you here!–Grace

  8. Oh, great question. I think I could give you my log-in access—I will double-check! I do know it is accessible for 30 days after the event, so my guess is this will work but I will get back to you on this. Thank you!–Grace

  9. Grace, I would not be able to get Monday and Tuesday off from work as I will have just returned from vacation. If I paid for all 4 days, would I have access to the workshop recording?

  10. I was a participant in last years Breittenbush gathering. I signed up to come with my wife to the Seattle event. We would like to stay in our 24 foot rv. Is there a driveway or room in front for us to park??

  11. Confused. Is there a way to watch on-line from our own homes. Fee? Thank you kindly. Looks interesting. Good luck w your gathering.

  12. I love that you’re coming Nicole! I sent you an email and you’ve got the last bedroom–there are still cots and mattresses for anyone else. I’ll send an email out closer to the event so people can carpool and connect if that helps! Yay! So looking forward to it. Love, Grace

  13. I want to be there. Sent email requesting room about an hour ago. Coming from Eugene by train. Anyone want to share a ride from downtown Seattle? Happy to share gas expense. Namaste’.
